Schedule Details
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi
Pick up from the airport upon arrival and transfer to the Clarion Hotel for an overnight rest booked on Bed and breakfast. Dinner will be taken from the hotel restaurant at an extra cost depending on what you will eat from the menu.
Day 2: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve
At 7:00AM you will be picked up from your hotel and proceed to Samburu National Reserve located in the Northern Kenya. Have lunch on the way to arrive Samburu in time for an evening game viewing.
Samburu is famous for its truly wild semi-arid landscape, and the large concentration of wild animals and bird-life. Together with the adjoining Shaba and Buffalo Springs national reserves, Samburu is popular for hosting the rare Northern-Kenya animal species (Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich) which are not found in the other popular parks and reserves in Kenya. It is also home to all the African big cats (lion, cheetah and leopard), alongside other big game including elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, impala, water-buck and many others.
Samburu is also a renowned bird watching haven, with hundreds of bird species resident here. These include kingfisher, bee-eaters, tawny eagle, guinea-fowll, yellow throated spur-fowl, lilac-breasted roller, red-billed horn bill, secretary bird, Verreaux’s eagle, superb starling, yellow-billed hornbill and vultures.The unique culture of The Samburu tribe who live in the region is the icing to cake for the amazing Samburu National Reserve.
Dinner and overnight at SAMBURU SOPA LODGE:
Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
Early morning game drive in the reserve. Later, return to the Lodge for breakfast. Rest of the mid-morning at relaxation. After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve.

Day 4: Samburu to Aberdares National Park
You will have an early breakfast check out, game enroute and drive to Aberdare National park arriving in time for lunch at Aberdares Country Club. After lunch you are transferred to the park by the lodge vehicle.
The park provides a habitat for elephants, black rhinos, leopards sported hyenas, olive baboons, black and white colobus monkeys, buffalos and many more. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest Hogs, bongos and many types of big cats. You can indulge in picnics, trout fishing in the river and camping in the moorlands. You can also enjoy bird viewing with over 250 speacies of birds in the park. And this is done from the Balcony of the Ark Lodge. Game drives are done by the hotels upon request at an extra cost.
Dinner and overnight at the ARK LODGE
Afternoon game drive 3.30pm in search of its popular residents the elephants and also if lucky get to see the predators and their opponents like the Zebra, Wildebeest, Giraffe, Hippo with a view of Mt Kilimanjaro.
Dinner and overnight at AA Lodge Amboseli
It is 350 kilometers away from Nairobi and ranges in altitude from 800 to 1230m above sea level. The reserve is rich in wildlife with an abundance of rare northern specialist species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, reticulated giraffe, gerenuk and the beisa oryx (also referred to as Samburu Special Five).
You will have an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephant. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River, the life source for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic.

Day 5: Aberdares to Lake Naivasha/Hell’s Gate
You will have an early breakfast check out and depart and drive to Naivasha to arrive in time for lunch.
After lunch, you will go to hell’s gate for biking safari. if you are too tired you will be driven in the park with a car.
You will later go for an hour boat ride on Lake Naivasha for bird watching and hippo viewing.
Dinner and Overnight at NAIVASHA SOPA LODGE
Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Early morning breakfast check out as you proceed to Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch at the camp. Around 4.00 depart your camp and drive to the park for a 2 hours game viewing till 6.00pm, please make sure you get to capture the sunset in the park if the clouds are clear.
Masai Mara Reserve is the most popular tourism destination in Kenya. Located in the Great Rift Valley in primarily open grassland. Wildlife is most concentrated on the reserve’s western escarpment. Its regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife Viewing areas. The annual wildebeest’s migration alone involves over 1.5 million animals arriving in July and departing in November. Hardly can a visitor miss to spot the big five. The phenomenal wildebeest migration which is a spectacular event only seen in Maasai mara is the the wonder of the world.

Day 9: Flights Nairobi to Zanzibar
Breakfast at the hotel and thereafter, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Zanzibar.
Upon arrival in Zanzibar, you are picked up and transfer to the Hotel. Booked on Half Board
Dinner and overnight at UROA BAY
Day 10 & 11: Relaxation in Zanzibar
Full day relaxing at the hotel enjoying resort facilities. Or you can opt to arrange extra activities within the city at extra cost.

Day 12: Flights from Zanzibar to Nairobi
Breakfast and thereafter you will be transferred to the Airport to catch your flight to Nairobi upon arrival you will catch your flight back home.
